What is the most important thing about Pipe Plug?+–

PlugCo is considering the safety as its first priority. That’s why we are always insisting on following the safety instructions in our Safety Manual to avoid the Plugs sliding or bursting, which can result in bodily injury, death or property damage!
What is the material of Pipe Plug?+–

The Pipe Plug is made of SBR+NR mixed rubber, nylon cord, Kevlar cord and strong fabrics.
What is Pipe Plug?+–

Pipe Plug is a gravity lines testing and sealing device. It’s named also inflatable pipe plug, pipe balloon, pipe stopper, pneumatic plug or rubber plug and it’s used to seal or test sewer and drain pipelines of different sizes starting from Dia. 35mm up to Dia. 2200mm
How do we use Pipe Plug?+–

For leakage test, we use the Pipe Plug to block the pipeline from both sides by two pieces of PP Model and then, filling the test water from the manhole to test the pipeline. Otherwise, the Pipe Plug is used to block the line and seal the pipe. You can check more details in our User Manual
How can we choose the suitable model of the Pipe Plug?+–

We are choosing the suitable PP Model based on many criteria which are mainly: pipe size, media and back pressure. You can check all standard models from the above Technical Table.
Can we use one PP Model for many pipe sizes?+–

PP Model is multi-size pipe plug which means that you can use one PP Model for many pipe sizes. For example, you can use PP6001600 for all pipe diameters between 600mm and 1600mm. You can check in the above table the Usage Size Range of each pipe plug model. You can watch our video for more details.
Is PlugCo offering any training of how to use Pipe Plugs?+–

PlugCo is providing trainings to its clients of how to succeed their test and how to use the Pipe Plugs correctly, and in the end of training, PlugCo is giving certificates to the concerned ones. In addition, PlugCo is assisting its clients by providing on-site supervision. You can check an example of a training we gave before.
What are the storage conditions of the Pipe Plugs?+–

The pipe Plugs should be stored in a dark & dry place, away from direct sunlight, and the temperature must be between +5°C and +25°C. In addition, before and after each use of the Plug, be sure to clean the external surface of the plug. However, NEVER Clean the plug with solvents, hydrocarbons or other aggressive agents.
